Hi, Peter.
Currently I'm using the Dectalk Software TTS version 4.61. It is $50, and
while not the most responcive it does have high quality speech, there is a
multilingual version, and works with Emacspeak, YASR, and the Gnome screen
reader gnopernicus.
Dectalk Software 5 is now out, and I have heard there are some issues with
it, and you would have to talk to others on the list to find out what you
have to do to get 5 to work.
Also there is Cepstral. I believe there is an emacspeak server out for it,
and perhaps others can confirm or not one exists.
