Hi Veronica,
You'll probably need a few lines of scheme code to
interface italian festival and speech-dispatcher (precisely
festival-freebsoft-utils) which is the festival side of
speech-dispatcher. I've already made this adaptation
for french hence I claim that I'll be able to make
it for italian as well.
