I _think_, that it is in the installation part of the emacspeak
manual/info pages.  If it is not there, it might be in one of the other
guides on the emacspeak.sf.net site.  

You are using Fedora, right?  I would say that it should be pretty
painless.  As far as the tts install, they come in rpm format.  The only
problem that might be found there would be dependencies.  After the rpm
part of the install, take a look in the linux-outloud directory which
should be in one of a few places on your system, if you have a stock
fedora install. It should be in the 

<emacs directory>/site-lisp/emacspeak/servers/linux-outloud

I am not sure how fedora handles emacs.  Debian will install emacs in
directories with version numbers that will allow you to run multiple
versions.  You can get to the directory by running the following command
in a terminal :

locate linux-outloud

Aftrer you get to the directory, read the VIAVOICE file and the alsa
file.  Then, you should be up and running.

I would think that it should be pretty painless, as T.V. runs fedora, I
think.

Concerning the $40 offer mentioned here before, I have not heard
anything from that companny.  I joined a project that is testing the
viavoice engine on emacspeak, so I did not have to get the tts from the
company.  if you do not have a link for the site, check the archive, but
I think it is ttsynth.com.
