Re: [emacspeak The Complete Audio Desktop] Emacspeak And Voice Locking Using Aural CSS

well, you already did give something back;

You took the first step in poking around and writing it up ---
which caused me to write it up better, as opposed to the usual
whines that sometime show up on mailing lists that just ends with
me flaming the whiner:-)

Here is something that you could contribute next in the
voice-lock area:

As you noticed with gnus, there are many faces that dont have a
corresponding voice mapping defined.

If you can go through and spot these, and come up with mappings
that sound good, it'll be generally useful.

Another thing that needs work is tuning the voice parameters for
ViaVoice.
If you have the energy, play with the numbers, and put your
improvements back in outloud-voices.el -- for now you can just
email the numbers.

What requires tuning:

things like voice-bolden etc are defined in terms of ACSS
settings.

The mapping from ACSS to device specific settings happens in
outloud-voices.el --- tkae a look at the code there, play with
emacspeak-wizards-generate-voice-sampler
and have some fun.
