I'm using emacs 22.05 and the current emacspeak snapshot (updated
about 20 minutes ago). I'm getting failure running commands like
emacspeak-webserch-dispatch with
defvar, symbol's value is void "emacspeak-websearch-google-uri
it looks to be in the definition of
emacspeak-websearch-google-launch-uris.
the command emacspeak-websearch-google
also fails.
Defining the variable emacspeak-websearch-google-uri as in
emacspeak-websearch.el fixes the problem. Does this suggest things
are being evaluated in the wrong order?
I also got the following warning when making emacspeak-websearch.elc
emacs -batch -q -no-site-file -l /home/rayner/packages/emacspeak/lisp/emacspeak-load-path.el -l /home/rayner/packages/emacspeak/lisp/emacspeak-loaddefs.el -l /home/rayner/packages/emacspeak/lisp/emacspeak-cus-load.el -f batch-byte-compile emacspeak-websearch.el
In toplevel form:
emacspeak-websearch.el:264:16:Warning: reference to free variable
`emacspeak-websearch-google-uri'
emacspeak-websearch.el:1314:15:Warning: reference to free variable
`calendar-mode-map'
In end of data:
emacspeak-websearch.el:2048:1:Warning: the following functions are not known
to be defined: url-match, w3-fetch, calendar-astro-date-string,
calendar-cursor-to-date

cheers
