Since upgrading to the cvs version of emacs I have noticed this error
when starting a new message in gnus:
run-hook-with-args-until-success: Symbol's value as variable is void:
emacspeak-flyspell-highlight-personality
Error in post-command-hook: (void-variable
emacspeak-flyspell-highlight-personality)
NOTE: the line breaks are mine, those 4 lines should be 2.
I had a look in emacspeak-flyspell.el and saw the variable mentioned 3
times. None of these seems to indicate to me where the error might be
coming from. There is no face-to-voice mapping so I am not sure if a
face changed between emacs 21 and 22.
The only problem that this is causing is that words are no longer
indicated to be mispelled by a bolder voice. Everything else in the
message buffer seems to work fine. I have also noticed that the
misspelled word is not visually highlighted in the buffer as it was
before.
I would try to track this error down, but I am not sure where to start
looking. Is this a problem with emacs or gnus? Should I ask on
gnu.[emacs|gnus].help lists?
plees heelp me as my spelingk is not to god.
Thanks,
rdc
