Hello,
This is a short follow-up on my efforts --- futile as yet ---
to use the gmail web page. I had sent a copy of my letter to
the list to another former colleague and his response includes
the following intriguing piece of info:
"I have recently packaged (for Debian) a newer version of
"edbrowse" which is a browser written by Karl Dahlke and is especially
suited to text-mode. It does not even use "curses" screen drawing but
outputs line at a time. However, it *does* do Javascript. I haven't
used it for gmail.
"
Has anyone tried this and can it be used for example from a shell or
eterm buffer?
Cheers.
Kalyan
