I'm confused -- I thought the oralux cd already had emacspeak on
it.
Either way you should not do apt-get emacspeak at present since
what you get is *very* old.
Finally, if you want to use the old emacspeak that you got using
apt-get with a synthesizer other than the Dectalk, try doing an
apt-get of emacspeak-ss --- this gives you speech servers for
other TTS engines.
