Agoogle search of lacheck and auctex shows that lacheck is no longer
part of the newer versions of auctex. I use auctex-11.55.
The suggestion I liked best on the admittedly short time I tried it
out is to temporarily assign `zing' to be the pronunciation of the ` '
character.
