hi evryone.

I thought i'd let evryone know that I eventually got w3 to go.  

I have another question :)

auditory icons.
do they only work under X?
the only time I was able to get the to work was under X.  I used the c-e c-a command to turn them on.  however, that was only once, and they havn't worked since.  It isn't a problem with my sound card, because I can cat the .au files to /dev/audio.

this works fine but auditory icons will not.  What really confuses me is that they actually worked the first time but not any more.  

any ideas?
