Define "get it to work" -- you imply it doesn't work. The mode works, the game works. Separately you ask about how the game works perhaps -- though it's not clear. You may want to read the paper I wrote on this topic for Assets 1998 --- see ACM citation at http://portal.acm.org/citation.cfm?id=274497.274509 Note that the ACM site is a pain to navigate, you can find easier to read versions through Google Scholar: http://scholar.google.com/scholar?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&btnG=Search&num=25&q=conversational+gestures+raman+tetris Hi All, I've recently been fiddling with Emacs Tetris mode. I confess I'm quite stumped: maybe it's the fact I've never had actual sight to play the real thing. Anyhow, has anybody perhaps gotten the mode to work for them? I'm sure it can be done, and would probably be easier if I had a working knowledge of the game itself. (As it is, I know vaguely that it's about arranging rows of blocks.) Any help or information would be appreciated. Best and thanks, Zack. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the emacspeak list or change your address on the emacspeak list send mail to "emacspeak-request@xxxxxxxxxxx" with a subject of "unsubscribe" or "help" -- Best Regards, --raman Title: Research Scientist Email: raman@xxxxxxxxxxx WWW: http://emacspeak.sf.net/raman/ Google: tv+raman GTalk: raman@xxxxxxxxxxx, tv.raman.tv@xxxxxxxxxxx PGP: http://emacspeak.sf.net/raman/raman-almaden.asc On 2/20/09, Zachary Kline <kline.zachary@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Hi All, > I've recently been fiddling with Emacs Tetris mode. > I confess I'm quite stumped: maybe it's the fact I've never had actual sight > to play the real thing. > Anyhow, has anybody perhaps gotten the mode to work for them? > I'm sure it can be done, and would probably be easier if I had a working > knowledge of the game itself. > (As it is, I know vaguely that it's about arranging rows of blocks.) > Any help or information would be appreciated. > Best and thanks, > Zack. > > ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the emacspeak list or change your address on the > emacspeak list send mail to "emacspeak-request@xxxxxxxxxxx" with a > subject of "unsubscribe" or "help" > > ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the emacspeak list or change your address on the emacspeak list send mail to "emacspeak-request@xxxxxxxxxxx" with a subject of "unsubscribe" or "help".
