Oh, you're right - I was - at that moment - downloading a cvs of audacity because there are some nice new features in it. You're right the SVN and not the CVS. Thanks, Robert. In the meantime, I noticed that Gilles from voxin.org added a script to download emacspeak for ubuntu. It worked flawlessly for ORCA but I'm still getting *Process server not runnning* in emacspeak. I have another method and that using the svn that worked flawlessly. I think I was using the new alpha version of Jaunty (next release) of Ubuntu - now I'm back on the current release. ORCA didn't work on Jaunty either and the script says so! Best DR > believe the cvs version is no longer being maintained.
