This is great advice; thank you, Raman. I think this will work much better than my previous strategy of just reading a Lisp book, doing some exercises, and wondering how I would ever remember all of those functions, macros, special forms and their options. Similarly, trying to read and understand the entire source code of a program before making changes probably isn't the best approach either, at least, not with my fallible memory.
