I accidentally found this archive: http://blog.gmane.org/gmane.emacs.emacspeak.generalBut I can't find posts from 1996 there, so it's possibly incomplete. I can setup the archive at nabble.com. These archives are very convenient, clear and readable. The only thing is that Raman has to agree to subscribe their robot to the list and give me (or directly the nabble technician) the mbox files of all the past posts. Please see how Orca list looks there:
