What version of OS X?

How did you install emacs?

I've been running emacspeak on mac for about 3 years now. While there are some issues from time to time - mainly to deal with interactions between voiceOver and emacspeak, I find it quite usable. We need more details regarding the problems your facing in order to assist with what may be wrong.

Also, has anyone built espeak for OSX? I'd prefer to use espeak for emacs.
