Hi Raman, just a curiosity question. The long standing advice with Emacspeak has been to ensure it is started early in the initialisation of Emacs. Now, Emacs 27 is changing things slightly with the introduction of an early init file that is run before the normal init. The reason for this change is due to a change in how package.el initialises packages. In Emacs 27, packages will be initialised before the init file is loaded. The early init file has been added to provide a way for users to run init code before packages are initialised. For Emacspeak, I guess this means that it will be getting loaded after all the packages have been initialised. I've just started using Emacs 27 and I have not observed any issues. However, I wanted to get your perspective on this. Do you think we should consider doing anything like possibly moving Emacspeak to be initialised as part of the early init file or are we fine to leave it as is for now and see what happens?
