Hi everyone, Hoping to pick your brains. Because of moving to windows from mac I'm now needing to run emacspeak in a linux vm. I'm seeking advice as to what people have done to get the most responsive experience with respect to sound output. I recall many discussions over the years as to the evilness if pulseaudio. Is this still the case? What virtualization software, vmware or virtualbox are people having success with. Is it still necessary to remove pulseaudio and if so any recomcommendationsstros or varients which make it easy to do so. It feels like pulsaudio is hard to remove from ubuntu as it's quite entrenched in the system. I'm trying both espeak and voxin as a preferred option. Voxin isn't too bad but sometimes sort of loops and repeats things. Any advice or experiences welcome! Kind regards Bart -- Bart Bunting
