Have you tried running it from term mode (m-x, term) and then using the
screen review commands documented in the Emacspeak manual, in the
discussion of eterm mode?
I encountered a similar application, texconfig, which would not work under
Emacspeak because the terminal emulator did not support the required 24
line b 80 character screen dimensions. However, in the long run I think it
would be better to learn the format of the relevant configuration files
and edit them manually, rather than trying to use a visually oriented
setup utility.
Texconfig is an interesting case, in that it also provides a command line
mode; but the latter is not well documented. Texconfig is part of the
teTeX 0.4 distribution.
