Jean Jordaan <rgo_anas@xxxxxxxxxxx> asked about "the relation
between emacspeak-dt-0.27.tar.gz and emacspeak-dtlk-1.21.tar.gz". I
wrote both of them. The first is a speech server for the DoubleTalk
family of synthesizers, but is now superceded by the emacspeak-ss
package. The second is a device driver (a kernel module) for one
member of that family - the DoubleTalk PC. For the latter device, you
need both a speech server and a device driver.
