emacspeak/viavoice problem.

Hello,
	I'm trying to get emacspeak working with viavoice on my laptop. I'm
encountering two problems. First, when I run the cmdlinespeak utility I
do hear viavoice, but the speech is very very soft, even the sound card
dial is full up. Secondly, when I start emacspeak like:
emacspeak -o
	emacs and I would assume emacspeak loads, but I get a process speaker
error.
	Does anyone have fixes for this?
