Hi, I am not absolutely sure, but I believe emacspeak measures speed between
1 and 100. That has been the case at least in my experiences, but someone
else is free to correct me if I am wrong.
Try setting the rate to 80 and see if your speed is speaded up. If so Then,
that is how your Emacspeak server operates.
