This is what I use to select a theme
(when (featurep 'emacspeak)
(emacspeak-toggle-auditory-icons t)
(when (emacspeak-sounds-theme-p "cartoon-22k-mono/")
(emacspeak-sounds-select-theme "cartoon-22k-mono/"))
(tts-configure-synthesis-setup))
