Yes, as you mentioned it, I guess you would have to change dtk-soft to try
another default voice.
The Fonix website supplies three PDF files for the DECtalk software. If I
remember well, two of them
give a number of MS-Windows screenshots but you may find there the sentence
which will answer a question. The reference guide is more helpful for the Linux
runtime.
