Problem with personal customization
I am using cvs emacspeak on debian unstable.
When I try to do emacspeak-customize-personal, I am prompted for my
filename with a ~/.
But when I enter .emacs (or anything else for this matter) I get a beep
and this message:
wrong type argument, stringp, nil
I've confirmed that I can ordinarily write to files, and emacspeak does
appear to respond to changes I make manually in the .emacs file.
What is the problem here?
Thanks.
