I'm trying to create a flite binary from the flite1.2-release source
and I keep getting an "internal error" from gcc. I'm doing this on a
slackware 9.1 box with gcc 3.2.3 (stock with slackware). Any ideas? I
should also note that I can compile everything else I've attempted but
flite is the only one to cause this strange error. Some claim it
relates to hardware problems but I can compile kernels and other big
apps including emacspeak and the software DECtalk module with no
problems at all.
