Obviously, I haven't read this list for a couple of months. But I use
dectalk on my laptop. Since viavoice no longer works, it's the only option
I have other than to carry around a synthesizer or use one of the less
understandable alternatives. I think dropping support for dectalk would put
a serious hurt on people who use a laptop.
Survey question/answers:
1) yes, I use dectalk with emacspeak
2) I bought it about a year ago. July 2003 (approx.)
