Hi Folks,

The server farm where emacspeak.net resides is requiring us to schedule and perform a reboot over the next two weeks I have scheduled our reboot for October 5th 2026 at 21:45 UTC.

Unless there is some kind of problem, the system should be back up within 20 minutes. This is a short enough time that if you happen to send mail to either list while the server is down your mail client should simply retry it a few minutes later.

I will send an all clear note once we are back up.

for information on any planned outages. Of course if the system is down then you will not be able to reach that page untill it's back up.
