Re:Unicode works with emacs23 + latest emacspeak

Hi John,

glad to hear your problems are fixed. Generally, once a new version of
emacs is released, it is always better to run it with the latest release of
emacspeak. I quite like being close to the bleeding edge, so I've been
running emacs 23 since it was in early beta (a couple of years now). 

With respect to the latest version of ubuntu, I don't know if it is part of
the distribution, but as its in debian unstable and as I beleive ubuntu
uses debian unstable as the starting point for new releases, I suspect it
will be included. I am in the process of setting up a new ubuntu box and
plan to upgrade it to the latest version and will know more then. Even if
its not in the latest ubuntu, there will be a PPA for it, so at the very
least, you can get it by adding the PPA to the sources.list file. I also
beleive the latest ubuntu has made adding PPAs a lot easier.
