You will need a simple shell script as there is an additional argument
passed which is not controlled by customise. I use the following
#!/bin/bash
#echo $* >> /home/tcross/play-args
#echo $1 >> /home/tcross/play-args
#echo $2 >> /home/tcross/play-args
paplay $2 &
I have this in ~/bin/play and set emacspeak-play-program to it.
emacspeak-play-args is empty i.e. "".
