small issue when setting up emacspeak on OS X

Hi,

I followed the instructions to set up emacspeak on OS X and almost
have it going, I am just running into one small issue.
When trying to load emacs using the init file attached, I get the
following error:

Symbol's value as variable is void: mac-default-speech-rate

Removing this line gives me the exact same error, so not sure what's
going on. If something has a few pointers that would be fantastic :)
