For both to be used together the two servers would have to
be running simultaneously --in itself no big a deal.
For what you propose --some messages going through one or
the other server is more work--
all speech calls in the core emacspeak API would have to
take an optional speech server.
This may be worth implementing at some point in the future
--not for now.
The other reason this would be useful would be for working
with multiple languages simultaneously.
