Hello,
I know that Linux and Emacspeak are very efficient in their utilization of
any CPU, be that 486, Pentium, etc.
I am wondering if one can get good or reasonable speech synthesis
performance with Emacspeak and the IBM ViaVoice synthesizer in a 486 machine.
Could anybody tell me what is the minimum hardware requirement for this
software combination?
Thank you,
Fernando
