Re the formatting, I'm sure it could be improved if they knew
what was wanting.
I too have had an XML formatted book for them which we converted
to braille.
Their internal working format is XML, so it should be easy
enough to derive a good plain text format.
Any suggestions for format which would be acceptable to most?
E.g.
Line length, chapter markers etc? toc present or not?
