Hi, I use Software Dectalk with emacspeak and also with Gnopernicus.
I purchased the Software Dectalk about six months ago specifically to use
both Emacspeak and Gnopernicus.
My personal feeling is the Dectalk Software is the best Text To Speech
software system going for the Linux operating system, and would hate to see
emacspeak support for it die.
Another screen reader which I also use called YASR uses the Emacspeak
Dectalk driver for the Dectalk Software, and by dropping support for Dectalk
Software not only will emacspeak loose it YASr will loose it as well.
