Well, Tim and I can put it off no longer. 

The first of two system maintenance outages is happening on April 1 2025 at 18:00 UTC. This is not a joke. It just happens to be that this is the date we are both available to make the changes to the system.  Over this time  mail.emacspeak.net and www.emacspeak.net will be unavailable or it may be intermittently available, please refrain from posting until you receive an "all clear" message from one of us.  (Yes, mail will queue up if sent while the system is down, but I don't want it trying to process and send out to the list until I know it's all back and working properly.) 

I will send out another note about a day before we take the system down. 

About a month after that we will do a second set of updates, but we want to make sure everything is working properly after the first set. We will send out another message like this one when we are a week or so out from doing the second set of updates.
