time-less-p symobol's definition is void?

hmm. Seems that it doesn't work for me. If I remove (require
'time-date) from my .emacs, then I get the error about function
time-less-p definition being void. 

What is the relevant line from the emacspeak-loaddefs.el file which
should lead to time-date being loaded? I'll try to track down why it
doesn't get done for me (possibly I'm not using the emacspeak function
which results in the autoload or something?
